Team Can Stay Above Water Without Romo
When I heard the Dallas Cowboys quaterback Tony Romo would be out for a month with a broken pinkie, I immediately had the urge to look at their schedule. They play St. Louis on the road this week, and despite them beating Washington last week this is a winnable game. Next week the Cowboys face Tampa Bay at Texas Stadium which, again, a win is not out of the question. Both teams will have quarterback issues. While Romo is injured for the Cowboys, Buccaneers head Coach John Gruden can't decide on one. To end the guantlet, the defending champs, the New York Giants, will be waiting in the Meadowlands. The Giants are beatable..... there is no New England Patriots in the league this year. Finally Brad Johnson is no slouch. He has won a super bowl and is at a point in his career where he can lead a team a few games at a time. He doesn't have the arm strength that Romo has. This could lead to a problem with him and Terrell Owens because we all know that T.O. loves the deep ball. Owens also doesn't mind going over the middle and getting yards after the catch. Look for tight end Jason Wittne to be a primary target for Johnson. Also, look for the Cowboys to go 2-1 in this stretch and still be in the hunt for the NFC East title when Romo comes back.

About Me:

Welcome to HunterSportsTalk.com where sports and pop culture rule the site. We can start from baseball in spring training all the way to the super bowl. That's almost a calendar year. If you really get bored we can get into some arena football. First one to 85 wins! The website will updated daily with podcasts and blogs of everything that a well rounded guy or gal in today's society can relate to. In tennis, is Roger Federer ever gonna have a consistent rival on all surfaces? In baseball, is Barry Bonds being blackballed just because he rubbed cream on his thigh? Or more importantly, are those Angelina Jolie's lips!? These questions and more will be answered here. Come on in, the water is fine!
